Can I use PhoneFusion One VoIP phone service from another location (i.e. from a vacation home)?
Can I use PhoneFusion One VoIP phone service when I move to a new permanent address?

Can I use PhoneFusion One VoIP phone service from another location (i.e. from a vacation home)?

Yes, you can. In order to use all the service features, you will need to take the adapter with you and install it in the new location (you wont need to re-activate your adapter). As long as a high speed cable modem or DSL Internet connection is available with the minimum 90 Kbps speed (upload and download), you should be able to connect the adapter in the same manner as you did at your residence. Everything about your service, including your telephone number, login and password will remain the same.

Can I use PhoneFusion One VoIP phone service when I move to a new permanent address?

Yes, you can take your phone number with you. As long as you have a high-speed cable modem or DSL Internet connection available with the minimum 90 Kbps speed (upload and download), you should be able to connect the adapter and begin using it exactly as you did at your former residence. Everything about your service, including your telephone number, login and password will remain the same.
Note: When you take your PhoneFusion One VoIP phone service number on vacation or to a new permanent address, you MUST provide PhoneFusion One with your new Service Address location so we can update our records and ensure that in case of an emergency, 911 operators will know where to find you. Please see our 911 policy for more information.

Will other people calling me be charged long distance or toll charges when calling me at my new location?

Just like at your old location, when someone places a call to your PhoneFusion One phone number, it is treated as if they are calling a phone number in the area code of your phone. This is true regardless of where your PhoneFusion One phone is currently located.
